New Hire/ back

Terms of Service

Last updated: May 5, 2026. Draft — operative for development; binding terms will be reviewed before public launch.

By creating an account or using New Hire, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

New Hire is a platform for compiling and running AI agents (we call them skills) and connecting them to the tools you already use. Skills are billed per-run; some skills are published by third-party creators on a marketplace, and creators receive a share of the revenue from each run of their skill.

Beta software

The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. It may break, change, or go away with notice. Don't rely on it for anything mission-critical without a backup plan.

AI output disclaimer

Everything skills generate — text, plans, decisions, artifacts — is produced by a large language model. It can be wrong, misleading, biased, or fabricated. Verify before relying on it. Don't use it as a substitute for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

Acceptable use

Billing

Skill runs deduct credits from your organization's balance at cost plus a 20% markup. Marketplace skills additionally pay 5% of the run cost to the skill's creator. We charge through Stripe; all sales are final unless we offer a refund at our discretion. You're responsible for keeping a positive balance to run skills.

Marketplace creators

If you publish skills to the marketplace, you grant other users a license to run your skill in exchange for the per-run share. You retain authorship; you're responsible for the content of any prompts and tools you ship. Payouts hit your Stripe Connect account when you cross the $10 pending threshold. We may delist skills that violate our acceptable-use policy or fall below quality thresholds (evaluation score below 0.6).

Your content

You retain ownership of skills you compile, prompts you write, and artifacts you generate. We don't claim a license to them beyond what's necessary to operate the service (route through Anthropic, store in Postgres, surface in the workspace). See the privacy page for data handling.

Account deletion

You can delete your account from the Account sheet at any time. Deletion is permanent and cascades through our database. If you have unpaid earnings as a creator, contact us before deleting so we can settle them.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss or damage arising out of your use of the service, including loss of data, lost profits, or any consequential, incidental, or punitive damages. Total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or pose a risk to other users. You can stop using the service at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page. We'll notify you in-app or by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect.
